🐾 Pet Pals World — Privacy Policy

The short version: we don't collect your data. Pet Pals World has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no free-text input anywhere. Your game lives on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. The developer operates no servers and receives no information about you or your child. All game progress (pets, coins, homes, friends list) is stored only on the device.

Names and identifiers

Every name in Pet Pals World — island names like "SunnyOtter42" and friend codes like "HERON-5492" — is randomly generated inside the app from safe word lists. There is no way to type a real name, and nothing in the game links these identifiers to a real person.

Playing with friends (optional)

Visits, trading, and the friends list are optional features guarded by a grown-ups gate, and can be switched off entirely in the Parent Zone. When they are used:

• Island visits and trading connect two to four devices through Apple Game Center. During a visit, devices exchange only in-game information: avatar position, movement, and which pet is along for the walk. Nothing is stored by the developer; Apple's handling of Game Center is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Online status ("who's playing now") uses Apple iCloud. While the app is open, it may share the player's random friend code, generated island name, and a "last played" moment so that only people who already have that friend code can see they're playing. "Appear Offline" (one tap on the Friends screen) stops this immediately and removes the record. Closing the app does too.
• Join requests share the same generated identifiers plus a one-time visit code, and disappear after a couple of minutes.

Children's privacy

Pet Pals World is built for families and designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We collect no personal information from anyone, including children. Social features use only random, non-personal identifiers, sit behind a parental gate, and can be disabled in the Parent Zone.

Purchases

Pet Pals World is currently free with no in-app purchases. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first.
